Zaid Abubakar; Ph.D, CIPFA, ACTI, ACA

Dr. Zaid Abubakar is the Executive Chairman of the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS).

He holds a doctorate degree in Accounting from Al-Madina International University, (MEDIU) in Malaysia. He is an alumnus of the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where he obtained B.Sc in Accounting and M.Sc Accounting and Finance.

He is a member of the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA) UK, a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) and an associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).

Prior to attaining the position of the Executive Chairman at KADIRS, he was a lecturer in the department of Accounting at Ahmadu Bello University and a Tax Auditor at the Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS).

He won the ICAN Merit Award for the second overall best candidate in 2009 November.
